The Maine Event
With the temperature rising off the shore of Sebago Lake outside of Portland, Maine, we decided to cool off in the water. Then the cell phone rang, and thank goodness for that. Otherwise, we never would have seen Esther’s Dad again. Sheltered in the privacy of the garage, he had changed into his swim suit. And that’s when the 50 year old door of the family summer cabin locked shut.
Fortunately, his daughters arrived to capture the entire event on film and video before rescuing him.
